Reach out

The first step you should take in joining FarmHouse is to reach out to the recruitment chair. This can be done by email or through the fraternity’s social media pages by sending a simple message showing your interest in joining. After, you should now have a contact within the fraternity. Attend recruitment events

These events are hosted for you to get to know the current members and learn more about the fraternity. This step is crucial to your journey to becoming a member because it allows the fraternity to get to know you better and determine if you will receive an invitation into the fraternity. This time is also an opportunity for you to decide if FarmHouse aligns with your own morals and goals.

Receiving a bid card

After rush is over, the fraternity will vote on each possible new members status and those who are a good fit, will receive a bid card from the president or recruitment chair. You must sign and return the bid card before starting the next step of joining the brotherhood.

Pledge process and new member education

After receiving and signing your bid, card you will go through nine weeks of new member education and be referred to as a “pledge” in the fraternity. These nine weeks consist of bonding with your pledge class, strengthening your leadership skills and ensuring FarmHouse is the fraternity for you.
